The 2024 edition of the Garrett Contest in Cesenatico took place on Sunday, April 28th with a spring-like climate and an unparalleled challenge: for the first time, 300 participants, instead of 250, took part in the competition, which saw detectorist Andrea Valeri triumphing in the late afternoon.
But the number of participants was not the only novelty of this edition: on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the American metal detector company to which the Contest is dedicated, among the many prizes drawn, i.e., awarded without considering the race rankings, an unmissable trip to Dallas for 2 people to visit the official headquarters of Garrett was won by contestant Biasioli Marco.
