The opening ceremony of the Garrett Contest is the perfect way to get into the spirit of the event right away!

Start of Qualification Rounds

Start of Qualification Rounds
Each round will last 25 minutes, during which competitors must recover as many tokens as possible.
DetectorShop judges will be present on the competition field to supervise the correct conduct of the event.
The best 25 competitors from each round will qualify for the semifinals, which will take place in the early afternoon.

Qualification Round Schedule:
1st round (Yellow): Start 9:00 AM - End 9:25 AM
2nd round (Blue): Start 9:40 AM - End 10:05 AM
3rd round (Red): Start 10:20 AM - End 10:45 AM
4th round (Green): Start 11:00 AM - End 11:25 AM

"Lucky Loser" Draw

20 detectorists will be randomly selected among those who did not qualify during the qualification rounds.
The lucky participants will be automatically re-entered into the main bracket and will therefore be able to take part in the two semifinals held in the early afternoon.

Lunch Break

Take advantage of the lunch break to recharge your energy.
In the areas surrounding the competition field you will find several places where you can enjoy the specialties of our region!

Semifinals start

Start of the Semi-finals
The semi-finals will last 30 minutes and will involve the winners of the qualifying heats.
At the end of the 30 minute competition, the competitors will present themselves at the jury's desk, where the tokens found will be counted.
The best 20 competitors in each round qualify for the final race.

Start of the Final

The final will last 30 minutes and will involve the winners of the semi-finals.
At the end of the 30 minute competition, the finalist competitors will present themselves at the jury's desk, where the tokens found will be counted.

Awards Ceremony Start
and Group Photo

In addition to the winners being awarded a lot of Garrett and DetectorShop gadgets including bags, bags, digging tools and much more will be drawn at random among all the participants.
The official group photo will be taken right at this moment, to immortalize all the participants together.
The winners will be photographed with the managers of Garrett USA and Garrett Italia DetectorShop and the photos will be published on the official social channels and on this site.
At the end of the event, Garrett technicians will be available to everyone for suggestions, advice and free checks on the metal detectors.

Final super prize draw

Detectorshop offers a super prize draw among the 300 participants.
If the drawn participant is not present at the time, another competitor will be drawn.
